For rent is this charming recently renovated cottage which was originally built in 1909. It served for the railway guard that watched over the track, which is now the cycle path into Lund. The object is integrated into the large property where the landlord lives parts of the year.
The entrance to the house is separate from the entrance into the main building. It provides access to a shared laundry room with all amenities and an indoor entrance to the rental property.
The house has two floors. The ground floor offers a small kitchen with a contemporary interior, a bathroom with WC and shower and a spacious room that can be used as a bedroom or living room.
A white wooden staircase shows the way up to the upper level where a large area welcomes with the old chimney stack that divides the room. There are two dormers here for more space and light, and the ceiling with exposed beams goes all the way up to the ridge of the roof. From this room, you get panoramic views over the fields and the bird sanctuary that is the Fågelsång valley in the distance.
You as the tenant will have access to the generous, park-like garden. It gives great joy and peace in everyday life not only because of several exciting garden/lounge areas. To the south, the labyrinth-like boxwood plantings frame a circular fountain. Perennials, local plants, vegetables and flowers come together in the flower beds. To the west is the atmospheric orangery, where both dinner guests and Mediterranean plants thrive all year round.
